Each organization manages up to 15 keywords tailored to their jurisdiction. Echo’s detection runs on two parallel tracks: an instant literal match that fires the moment a keyword is spoken at 100% confidence, and a periodic semantic match powered by AI that analyzes the running transcript every 15 seconds — catching contextual matches that exact wording alone would miss. A caller says “gun” — Echo catches “firearm” too.
When a keyword is detected, Echo fires an alert containing the transcript snippet, timestamp, matched keyword, match type (literal or semantic), and confidence score — everything your responders need to act fast.
